Christ's Resurrection

CHRIST'S
RESURRECTION
Roman law said that any soldier caught
asleep while on guard duty was to be executed and it was always carried out forthwith.
-
Why were all 16
Roman soldiers guarding the tomb of Jesus asleep at the same time, and why
were they never punished?
-
Why, if His tomb
was sealed with a Roman seal, and the seal had been broken, was not the man
hunted down and executed?
-
At that time
Jerusalem was a tiny town. Why were not 300 Roman soldiers dispatched to find
the stolen body? This would disprove the resurrection of Jesus.
-
Why did the
disciples of Jesus who hid and denied Him the day before his crucifixion, proclaim Him boldly everywhere the third day after, taking all to
their deaths but John?
Then there is the
stolen body theory---His disciples moved the 20 ton stone over the door without
waking up the guards.
There is the wrong tomb theory that the women before day break, and confused,
went to the wrong grave, also His disciples did the same afterward. Roman
officials present on site could have directed them, and who ever forgets where a
loved one is laid to rest?
There is the swoon theory that Jesus after being severely beaten, hung on His
cross, had His heart pierced with a Roman spear, then fainted, came to three
days later and walked out of His tomb.
